Siech fired an even-par 71 which included a 1-under-par 34 on the front nine and a 1-over-par 37 on the back at the Pine Hills Country Club. Siech finished five shots ahead of Wyatt Stickney of Oshkosh West and Sasha Oosting of Manitowoc Lincoln who tied for second with 76s.

The Panthers shot 325, finishing behind Neenah which totaled 321. Plymouth’s other low players were Tony Arnold with an 82, and Matt Gannon and Sam Potrykus at 86 each. Aron Schilsky also competed and carded a 93.

The top-two teams and the topthree individuals from nonqualifying teams advance to the state meet which will be held Monday and Tuesday at University Ridge in Madison.

“Tyler was just outstanding – winning the meet by five strokes. Tyler has really stepped up his game in the playoffs so far – winning both the regional and sectional,” said PHS head coach Dan Knaus.

“The front nine, where we shot 162, set us up for the opportunity to qualify for state and the guys kept it going on the back nine. Tony Arnold had a huge back nine with a 38.

“All of the players really played well on a very wet day and earned their ticket to play in Madison at the state tournament,” Knaus said.
