Tia Rupnik '13, of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, received the Student Organization President of the Year Award. Tia writes "I ran for President because I wanted to make something happen with this organization. The one word I use to describe our organization this year is proactive. This is a quality and, even more, an expectation that I have built with our executive board members that will surely shine years after my leaving." And proactive they were as Athletic Council worked with two new advisors and a new executive board to revamp the organization's constitution, bylaws, mission statement, expectations and purpose through a process that involved the voices of the executive board and the general members.
