WARREN H. DAEHNERT

Warren H. Daehnert, age 77, of the town of Rhine, passed away unexpectedly at home Wednesday, May 29, 2013.

He was born in Sheboygan on April 14, 1936, a son of the late Harold and Louise (Schoen) Daehnert.

He was a 1955 graduate of Central High School in Sheboygan. He served his country as a member of the National Guard.

On March 15, 1958, Warren was united in marriage to the former Karen Fritz at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Sheboygan.

Warren was the service manager at Bill Thomson’s Motorville Inc. for 47 years. In retirement, he was employed at the Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center in plant operations.

Surviving Warren is his loving wife of 55 years, Karen; his daughters: Pamela (Dave) Markgraf, Sheryl Reif and her partner, Mike Schmidt and Dawn (Kevin) Teele; and his son, Peter (Shanda) Daehnert; his grandchildren: Hope Mueller, Chris (Jennie Lee) Mueller, David (Becky) Markgraf, Patrick Buckner, John Markgraf, Jenny (fiancé, Jeremy Brockman) Markgraf, Christine (Josh) Franks, Shelby Teele, Seth Christiansen and Karra Daehnert; five great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Aidan, Aubrey, Amber and Christopher; his brothers and sisters: Louise (Roland) Goosen, Margaret (Gene) Mohr, Ruth Suprick, Dorothy Daehn, Harold (Karen) Daehnert and his sister-in-law, Patsy Daehnert.

In addition to his parents, Warren was also preceded in death by his brother, Donald Daehnert; a son-in-law, Mark Reif; and a brother-in-law. Don Daehn.

A memorial service will be held for Warren at noon Tuesday, June 4, at Grace Lutheran Church in Elkhart Lake. Pastor Peter Peitsch will officiate.

Friends may call on the family at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

A memorial fund has been established to Grace Lutheran Church in Warren’s name.
