Chorus named most improved

Hometown Harmony Tradition, the local chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, recently competed in the Packerland Division chorus contest in Appleton. The contest was held on May 18th.

The chapter was recognized with the “Most Improved Chorus Award” and the “First Place Chapter Achievement Award”. The most improved award is based on the number of points that the chorus earned in the chorus competition and the achievement award is based on the total number of points that the chapter earned thru the year. Points are earned on basis of local activities and performances, quartet activities and performances, guest events, etc. President Al Prom accepted the awards on behalf of the chapter.

In addition, the chorus scored sufficient points to advance to the Land O Lakes District Contest which will be held in October.
