Howards Grove announces 2013 Valedictorians, Salutatorian

The School District of Howards Grove is proud to recognize Davis Nennig and Noah Stueven as Valedictorians of the Class of 2013, earning a perfect 4.0 grade point average. Ben Grunwald is the Salutatorian, earning a 3.982.

Davis, son of Dale Nennig and Susan Nennig, is a member of our National Honor Society and Student Council, a high school tutor, and maintains the Booster Club website. He was selected Academic All-State in Basketball, was a member of the Conference Champion Soccer Team, and provides leadership on our Tennis Team. He will study Biology/Genetics at the University of Minnesota.

Noah, son of Jeff and Denise Stueven, is a member of National Honor Society, performed in our highly successful Marching, Pep and Concert Bands, and is an original member and Captain of the only Drum line in the CLC. He was our Badger Boy State representative, and has earned his Eagle Scout. Noah plans on pursuing a Bio-Technology Degree at UW-River Falls.

Ben, son of Todd and Stacy Grunwald, is a member of National Honor Society, and a Volunteer Fire Fighter for the Haven Fire Department. He is active in St. Mark’s UCC in Cleveland, serving as a Scripture Reader, and a member of the Constitution Revision Committee. Ben will begin his college education at UW-Sheboygan, pursuing a Material Science and Engineering Degree.

Congratulations to Davis, Noah, and Ben on a job well done.
