Honoring Old Glory



Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility marked Flag Day Friday with an outdoor ceremony attended by a number of residents. Members of the Ladewig-Zinkgraf American Legion Post 243 of Plymouth and Haslee-Doebert-Schmidt American Legion Post 261 of Greenbush conducted the ceremony, which included retiring and folding the American flag, running up a new flag, a volley and the playing of Taps. Rocky Knoll Activity Director Kim Loose served as master of ceremonies and Rev. Thomas Fleischmann provided opening and closing prayers.
