MARY ELIZABETH REGAN

Mary Elizabeth Regan, age 73, of Sheboygan Falls, died peacefully Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at Pine Haven Christian Home after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Milwaukee on Feb. 17, 1940, the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Flanagan Murphy. Mary graduated from Hartford High School.

On May 23, 1959, she was united in marriage to Douglas Regan at St. Kilian’s Church in Hartford. He preceded her in death Dec. 24, 2006.

Mary was a proud homemaker for most of her life and enjoyed working part-time as a cook for Bob’s Lunch in Sheboygan Falls.

She enjoyed playing dartball, doing needlepoint, traveling to her cottage up north, and spending time with her family and friends. Mary loved all animals, especially her cats.

She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Sheboygan.

Survivors include her children, Jeffery (special friend, Teri) Regan, Lori (Larry) Kasper, Leah Eubanks, LTC (Ret.) and Tim (Heidi) Regan; grandchildren, Mike (Kerri), Sarah, Steven, Devon, Erika, Alfred and Connor; a great-granddaughter, Elaina; her broth- ers, Michael (Pamela) Murphy, Patrick (Gail) Murphy and Dennis (Mary) Murphy; and her sister, Kathleen (Gary) Schlieve. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other friends and relatives.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her stepmother, Francis Mae Secor Murphy.

A funeral service for Mary will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 29, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1614 S. 23rd St., Sheboygan, with the Rev. Christian G. Gugel officiating.

Family and friends may call at the church Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 11:15 a.m.

Entombment will take place at the Garden Terrace Mausoleum in Lutheran Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund had been established in Mary’s name.
