Brats of fun

The annual Johnsonville Sausage Fest (above), sponsored by Johnsonville Sauage, Sunday offered plenty of food, music and cold drinks. The annual event is, however, more than just eating, drinking and dancing. It is the major fundraiser for the Johnsonville Fire Department. The day began with a church service in the firehouse and continued with polkas, waltzes and other dances courtesy of the Carl Laack Band in the ballroom (left, below) and Copper Box outside of the firehouse (left, center). Ben Holzmann, future firefighter (top), added more brats and juice to be served at the Johnsonville Sausage Fest as Michelle Johanning and Larry Gumm watched his efforts.
