4-H- Willing Workers – October 2009

The October meeting was called to order at 6:10 p.m. For roll call we answered the question “What do you like most about winter?”

Harris Wells gave his quarters to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

We welcome Sophia Wells and Emily Przybilla as new members to our club.

Luke Laudolff reported that pick-up for the pizza sales is from 10-11 a.m. Dec. 5 at the Plymouth Town Hall.

Rachel Sommer spoke about the window display that was in the Plymouth Chiropractic Office from Oct. 5-9. The theme was “Monkeying Around in 4-H.”

Izack Ohman gave three options for the club to participate in the fall, serving our community during Christmas: Bell ringing, Christmas parade for Project Angel Hugs, or Project Angel Hugs.

Kim Back and her committee decided that we will celebrate the holiday at our December meeting Dec. 14 with a Pizza Party and the Dice Game.

Jon Schroeder spoke of all the fun activities that are held annually at the art workshop he recently attended.

Mrs. Schroeder explained that the trip and award applications would be due Nov. 3 with interviews scheduled for Nov. 17 to be considered for any trip or award next spring.

Mrs. Neu spoke about the possibility of changing our regular monthly meeting place to the Plymouth Alliance Church. Mrs. Neu is also planning to have monthly Cloverbud time starting in January since we will have more space for this activity at the church.
