ANNABELLE C. BREM

Annabelle C. Brem, age 79, formerly of Adell, passed away Monday, Sept. 2, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Nov. 21, 1933 in Milwaukee, a daughter of the late Homer and Gertrude (Lappen) Hudson. She was a graduate of Milwaukee Pius High School.

On June 13, 1953, Annabelle married Martin J. Brem at St. Therese of the Little Flower Catholic Church in Milwaukee. The couple resided in Milwaukee, St. Francis, Menomonee Falls, and for 20 years in Adell. She has resided in Plymouth for the last eight years. Her husband Martin preceded her in death April 18, 2002.

She owned/operated A&M House of Ceramics in Adell for many years.

She is a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Random Lake, and sang in their choir for years and belonged to the Christian Mothers Society.

She enjoyed ceramics, gardening, embroidering and other crafts as well as spending time with friends at the Roadside restaurant and with her grandkids and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her children: Sandra (Bob) Kreitlow of Glendale, Christine (Joe) Niehaus of Oshkosh, Margaret Krueger of Plymouth, John (Karen) Brem of Adell and Kurt Brem (fiancée, Manda) of Sheboygan; her loving niece, caregiver and friend, Nancy Erdmann (her companion, Dennis Knott) of Plymouth; 17 grandchildren; 18 greatgrandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Kolatzki of Nebraska and Betty Benjamin of Greenfield; one sister-in-law, Heidi (Jim) Kargman of Chicago; and also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Martin Brem Jr. and his wife, Dawn; one daughter, Colleen Daniels; one grandson, Christopher; one granddaughter, April; two sisters and one brother.

Funeral Mass will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church (St. Mary’s Chapel) in Random Lake. Father Wayne Bittner will officiate. Entombment will be in Forest Home Cemetery in Milwaukee.

Friends may call at the CHURCH from 4 p.m. Friday until the time of services.

A memorial fund is being established in Annabelle’s name.
