Resorters lose hard-fought CLC match

“I am very proud of the girls. We fought and fought and fought. Although we didn’t get the win, we took positive steps in the right direction,” said Resorter head coach Terri Huether.

Elkhart slipped to 1-4 in Central Lakeshore Conference dual play.

Emma Feldmann led the Resorter hitting with 13 kills and shared the lead in blocks with Miranda Sippel at two each. Emily Holzmann had a team-high 14 assists and was the top server with 20-for-21.

Rachael Flora paced Elkhart in ace serves with two. Sonia Schubert led in digs with 13. Claire Feldmann contributed 11 assists.

Cailey Jeske keyed the Rockets’ attack with 12 kills. Hailey Brockman led in assists with 18. Morgan Bohachek had a team-best 18 digs.
