LORRAINE H. “MICKEY” WARFIELD

Lorraine H. “Mickey” Warfield, age 94, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away early Saturday morning, Oct. 5, 2013, at her home.

She was born March 26, 1919, in Sheboygan Falls, Wis., a daughter of the late Emil and Odanah Henke Henig. She attended Sheboygan Falls grade school and graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1937.

On April 1, 1939, she married Theron “Bud” Warfield at St. Mark’s Episcopal Chapel in Sheboygan Falls. The couple have resided in Sheboygan Falls since their marriage.

Mickey worked as chief cashier at the Evans Store in Sheboygan Falls from 1962 until retiring in 1981. Her husband preceded her in death Dec. 24, 1996.

She was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Sheboygan Falls and sang in the choir for many years.

Mickey enjoyed word search puzzles, cooking southern fried chicken with milk gravy and spending time with her loving family.

Survivors include two sons, William (Elizabeth) Warfield of Portage and Howard Warfield of Sheboygan Falls; four grandchildren: William Warfield of Waukesha, Andy (Patty) Warfield of Hickory, N.C., Nancy (Jon) Mauel of Appleton and Geoffrey (Leah) Warfield of Middleton; six great-grandchildren: A.J., Miranda, Tanner, Lizzie, Megan and Aidan; one great-great-grandchild, Adrian; one daughter-in-law, Cheryl McGrath of Sheboygan Falls and one sister-in-law, Dona Heinig of Sheboygan Falls; and also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Ted; one daughter-in-law, Sharon; two sisters and one brother.

Memorial services will be held at 12 noon Wednesday, Oct. 9, at St. Peter Episcopal Church in Sheboygan Falls. The Rev. Samuel Nsengiyumva, pastor of the church, will officiate. Cremation has taken place.

Relatives and friends can call at the CHURCH on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in her name.
