Raeder, 22-6 this season, defeated Slinger’s Ayla Graziano 6-1, 6-1 to move into the semifi- nals. The semifinalists at Nos. 1 singles and doubles and the finalists at Nos. 2-4 singles and doubles qualify for the sectional meet which will be held Thursday, Oct. 10 at the Fox Cities Racquet Club in Appleton.

“Elizabeth looked very strong and I look for her to continue that play into Thursday to attempt to earn a berth in the state tournament next week in Madison,” said Panther head coach Jason Jaeckels.

Also winning matches for the Panthers were sophomore Elizabrth Bolland and senior Shyenne Genette in the first round at Nos. 3 and 4 singles, respectfully. Bolland and Genette lost their semifi- nal matches.

“It was not one of our better performances as a team,” said Jaeckels.

West Bend East won the meet with 24 points and PHS took fifth with six.
