William M. Soderbeck, age 65, of the town of Mitchell, passed away Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 16, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born July 27, 1948, in Milwaukee, Wis., a son of the late Melvin and Wilda (Lykins) Soderbeck.

On Aug. 15, 1992, he married Diane Mahuta in Milwaukee, Wis. The couple have resided in the town of Mitchell since their marriage.

He was employed in the construction trade for many years.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Diane of the town of Mitchell; two children, Tracy (Chris) Lynch of Milwaukee and Shane (Cheryl) Johnson of Kiel; two grandchildren, Dakota and Trevor Lynch; two brothers, Bryan (Joelle) Soderbeck of Suring and Melvin (Nancy) Soderbeck of Milwaukee; five sisters: Carol (Larry) Donohue of Saukville, Debby (Ken) Vandervelde of Suring, Dawn (John) Twardowski of Woheno, Donna (Steve) Rakow of Suring and Vicki (Jeff) Raddish of Townsend; and also survived by brother- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Gregory Soderbeck.

Memorial services were held Sunday afternoon, Oct. 20, at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Father Wayne Bittner officiated. Cremation has taken place.

A memorial fund is being established in William’s name.
