“Successful Relationships: Getting our Hearts Right” will be presented by Jane Jensen, Family Living Educator, UW-Extension Sheboygan County. “We all hope to have good relationships --thriving marriages, and families, close friendships, and well-functioning teams at work, and yet, along the way, we all encounter frustration and disagreements.”

Home & Community Education (HCE) members will serve beverages and comfort foods along with the recipes for affordable family time snacks. Committee members are: Ruth Cary, Family Coordinator, Sharon Zimmerman, Elverta Reinemann and Elaine McGinley.

Jensen said that this program will show how “knowledge and skills can help us deal with conflict but we also need the ability to see past only our own point of view and biases. Getting our hearts right really is the secret to success in our relationships. This educational program will outline three keys for getting our hearts right; humility, compassion and positivity. When combined with knowledge and skills, these keys can turn our differences and conflicts into harmony and growth. Getting our hearts right will help us achieve better relationships.”
