Edith M. Froh, age 90, formerly of Plymouth, passed away early Friday morning, Nov. 1, 2013, at Cedar Bay Assisted Living in Elkhart Lake.

Edith was born Jan. 8, 1923, in the town of Greenbush, Wis., a daughter of the late Ernst and Myrtle Miller Allwardt. She attended German Corners Grade School in the town of Greenbush and graduated from Appleton West High School in 1941.

On May 20, l944, she married Milton C. Froh in Appleton, Wis. The couple have resided in Plymouth since their marriage.

Edith was an assistant cook/baker at the Plymouth High School for 17 years retiring in 1985.

Milton preceded her in death May 24, 1997.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Glenbeulah and belonged to the Ladies Aid Society in the church.

Edith was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #261 in Greenbush and belonged to the Plymouth AARP and the Senior Citizen Dartball. Edith also enjoyed ceramics at the Senior Center in Plymouth and spending time with her quilting club friends.

Survivors include two sons, Dale Froh of Oakland Park, Kan., and Bruce Froh (Nancy Krahn) of Glenbeulah; one grandson, Ryan Froh of Rochester, Minn.; one brother, Kenneth (Wilma) Allwardt of Kaukauna, Wis.; extended family: Jason Krahn of Plymouth and Holly (Chad) Feucht of New Holstein and their children, Jeremy, Jayde and Nick; and Brad Krahn of Plymouth; and also survived by nephews, nieces, many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Lester Froh and Allen Froh and one sister-in-law, Mae Froh.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. The Rev. Donald Johnson, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church in Glenbeulah, will officiate. Burial will be in the Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth from 3 p.m. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in Edith’s name.
