DONALD E. PERRONNE

Donald E. Perronne, 81, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.

Donald was born April 10, 1932, in Sheboygan, son of Paul and Frances (Forster) Perronne. He was a 1950 graduate of Sheboygan Central High School.

Donald served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict from 1953-55.

On June 29, 1957, he married Nancy Nagel in Sheboygan.

Donald was employed with Kohler Co. for 44 years until his retirement in 1995. He worked part-time as a bartender for the Jaycees and The American Club.

Donald was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls, where he served as an usher.

He was a 50-year member of American Legion Post #149, a member of the VFW, and a Camp American Legion volunteer.

Donald enjoyed bowling, sheepshead, dominoes, and all sports.

Donald is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nancy; his daughter, Dawn Perronne of Sheboygan; his three sons, Dan (Deb) Perronne of Combined Locks, Derek (Lisa) Perronne of Houston, Texas, and Dean Perronne of Barto, Pa.; two grandchildren, Jon (Brittany) Perronne and Sara (Jesse) Dart; two great-grandchildren, Abby and Aubrey Perronne and one anticipated Dart great-grandchild in December; two brothers, Melvin (Marilyn) Perronne of Sheboygan Falls and Kenneth (Roma) Perronne of Sheboygan Falls; and two sisters-in-law, Lois Hartenberger of Sheboygan and Betsy (Robert) Blume of Alabama. Donald is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Donald’s life was held at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls with the Rev. Bob Lotz officiating. Entombment with military honors will take place Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 11 a.m. at Gardens of Peace Mausoleum in the town of Sheboygan.

Visitation was held at the church until the time of Mass.

A memorial fund has been established in Donald’s name for Blessed Trinity Parish and American Legion Post #149.
