Back to the basics

Brandon Vaughn passes the ball to A.J. Osieczanek during a ball-handling drill in the grades 5-6 session Oct. 21 at the Plymouth Boys Basketball Fall Camp and Coaches Clinic. The camp, held Oct. 7, 14 and 21 at the PHS gym, also included grades 7-8 and drew about 60 students. The camp stressed the basics of shooting, ball-handling and passing, while emphasizing the traditions and philosophies of the PHS boys basketball program. Camp director Jason Duff, PHS head boys coach, said the camp’s purpose is to prepare the players for their upcoming seasons and serve as a coaches clinic for local youth coaches. Duff thanked Van Horn Dodge in Plymouth for sponsoring the camp T-shirts.
