Kenneth C. Skelton, age 72, of Plymouth, Wis., passed away peacefully early Monday afternoon, Nov. 18, 2013, at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice.

He was born Oct. 12, 1941 in Plymouth, a son of the late Sylvester “Jack” and Myrtle (Panzer) Skelton. He attended Plymouth High School.

On Nov. 23, 1967, he married Constance Groene in Waukegan, Ill. The couple have resided in Little Elkhart Lake since their marriage.

He was employed by many sheet metal businesses and retired in 1997 from Vollbrecht Sheet Metal LLC in Howards Grove, where he worked for 15 years.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, gardening, the outdoors and his canine companion: Winnie.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Connie of Little Elkhart Lake; two daughters, Tiffany (Christopher) Suemnicht of Howards Grove and Ashley Skelton of Little Elkhart Lake; two grandchildren, Cole and Carter Suemnicht; three sisters: Rosie Kraus of Stoughton, Connie (Frank) Schad of Kiel and Carol (Tony) Williams of Mauston; one brother, Mike (Linda) Skelton of New Holstein and two sisters-in-law, Darlene Vreeke of Sheboygan and Joyce (Vilas) Vreeke of Vilas County; and also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Ruth Ann and two brothers, Arly and Robert.

Private family services will be held at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Burial will be at Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery.

A memorial fund is being established in his name.
