Doris R. Feldmann, age 61, of Sheboygan Falls, died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born April 30, 1952 in Sheboygan, daughter of the late Frederick and Myrtle (Siggelkow) Roehl. She graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1970.

On Oct. 9, 1971, she married Gordon Feldmann at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kohler. She and her husband owned and operated Feldmann Sales in Howards Grove, where she also worked as the secretary.

Throughout her working career, she worked for the Sheboygan YMCA when she completed high school and enjoyed her parttime work for the Sheboygan County Fair.

She was a member of Saron United Church of Christ, where she was a member of the Senior Choir, served on the consistory, and served as a Sunday school teacher.

She also was a general 4-H leader for the Johnsonville Hustlers, a member of the Lakeshore Driftbusters Snowmobile Club, and also volunteered for Sharon S. Richardson Hospice.

In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, card clubs with friends, shopping weekends, she loved fall, and took great pride in her home and her church.

She is survived by her husband, Gordon; three children, Michelle (David) Johanning, Melissa (Kevin) Fleck and Tim (Sara) Feldmann; four grandchildren, Morgan Johanning and Mason, Gage and Paxton Fleck; two sisters, Diane (Ronald) Matzdorf and Darlene (Larry) Gumm; her in-laws, Palmer and Ruby Feldmann, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Richard and Henrietta Feldmann, Lloyd and Sharon Feldmann, Nancy and Jimmy Fritz, and Judy Schmitz.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at Saron United Church of Christ in the town of Sheboygan Falls with the Rev. Beth Petzke officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call on Friday, Nov. 22, at the Schneider Funeral Home (123 South St.) in Plymouth from 4 to 8 p.m. and again Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.

A memorial fund has been established in the name of Doris Feldmann for the Saron UCC Senior Choir and the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Kumar and his staff along with the staff of the Vince Lombardi Cancer Center and the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice.
