DOT sets meeting on 67/PP intersection

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Green Bay off will host a public involvement meeting to discuss the upcoming reconstruction of the intersection of State 67 and County PP/Hill and Dale Road in the town of Plymouth.

The meeting will be held Thursday, Dec. 12, at the Plymouth Fire Station conference room, 111 Main St, Plymouth, from 5 to 7 p.m. with a brief presentation at 5:10 p.m.

The intent of the proposed safety improvement is to increase sight distance and reduce crashes at the intersection of State 67 and County PP. These improvements include removing an embankment in the southwest corner of the intersection and other obstructions, and flattening the vertical curve south of the intersection. The project is planned for 2015.

The meeting will follow an informal open house format. The public is encouraged to attend, ask questions and share information concerning historic buildings and structures, archaeological sites, septic systems, drain tiles, or drainage problems near the project with the DOT staff. Additionally, they are encouraged to review and discuss the proposed improvements.

The fire station is wheelchair accessible. Persons who are unable to attend the meeting can make their comments by contacting the DOT Project Manager, Paul Brauer, at 944 Vanderperren Way, Green Bay 54304; (920) 492-0135; or by e-mail at

Citizens who are hearing-impaired and who require an interpreter may request one by contacting Brauer at least three working days prior to the meeting.
