Deep freeze



City crews hit the Mill Pond Wednesday afternoon to prepare the ice skating rink for the 2013- 14 season. The rink will open officially Friday evening, much earlier than it did last winter. Free skate rentals are available at the heated shack located at the end of Main Street. Also available at the shack for sale are snacks, soda and hot cocoa. The rink is open 4-9 p.m. Monday - Friday and 1 p.m. - 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and it is lit at night.
