Miske leads PHS in tourney, reaches

Miske reached the 100-win career milestone during the tourney which saw him notch a pin and a technical fall.

Three Panthers posted 4-1 records – Keagan Gustin at 120, Eric Ohman, 126 and Izack Ohman at 160. All four of Izack Ohman’s victories were pins. Eric Ohman recorded two pins and Gustin had one.

Austin Wiese finished 2-1 at 152 for the Panthers. Wiese was held out of his final two matches because of an injury.

PHS placed eighth in the Blue Pool with an 0-5 record. The Panthers lost the seventh-place match to Wisconsin Dells, 42-36. St. Croix Falls won the pool with a 5-0 mark and River Falls took second.

The invitational included junior varsity competition Friday night. The following Panthers were top-four finishers: second – Ben Mrozinski (125), Glen Yolich (130), Joe Chandler (168) and Jesus Guzman (170); third – Jake Flowers (162) and Davon Meyer (182); and fourth – Jeremiah Wodarczak (148).
