A good good-bye to Mark Rhyan



The Acuity auditorium at Plymouth High School was filled Wednesday as friends, colleagues, community members and family bid a fond farewell to the late Mark Rhyan at a memorial service. Rhyan, executive vicepresident/ chief operations officer at Sargento Foods and president of the Plymouth School Board, passed away unexpectedly Dec. 25. Among those reminiscing about Rhyan were Sargento Chief Customer Officer and President - Consumer Products Division Michael Pellegrino (upper left), former Plymouth School Superintendent Dr. Clark Reinke (center left) and former Sargento Chief Executive Officer Lou Gentine (lower left), along with Rhyan’s children Niki and Corey (center right). The memorial concluded with sharing of the light with audience members (lower right) while Keith Abler and Neeltje Schmidt (upper right) sang Green Day’s “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life), beginning with Rev. Bill Rishel sharing the light with Corey and Niki Rhyan (cover).
