GREGORY KENNETH JAMES LANDERS

Gregory Kenneth James Landers, age 85, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away early Tuesday morning, Dec. 31, 2013, at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.

He was born April 1, 1928 in Milwaukee, Wis., a son of the late Gregory “George” and Josephine (Linda) Landers.

Gregory served in the U.S. Army from 1949-52.

On Nov. 18, 1952, he married Donna Grassman in Tomah, Wis.

He drove truck for over 23 years for Schultz Brothers (known as Piggly Wiggly) retiring in 1990.

He was a member of the Farmers & Sportsman Club in Sheboygan and an original member of Sheboygan Ducks Unlimited. He was an avid hunter and an outdoorsman enjoying fishing, trapshooting, camping and panning for gold in Arizona. He was also an avid Packer and Brewer fan.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Donna of Sheboygan Falls; three daughters: Debe (James) Hoopman of Sheboygan Falls, Beth (Ricky) Raeder of Sheboygan and Kelly (Mark) Crary of Elkhart Lake; four grandchildren: John (Robin) Hoopman of Plymouth, Beau (Morgan) Hoopman of Madison, Heather Raeder (fi- ancé, Jim Bates) of Sheboygan and Tyler (Mary) Raeder of Devils Lake, N.D.; six great-grandchildren: Johanna, Josefine, Rheinhardt, Thea, Zander and Joy and one sister-in-law, Nancy Landers of Tomahawk; and also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by four brothers: Rusty, Dick, Walter and John.

Following his wishes, cremation has taken place and PRIVATE family services will be held at a later date.

A memorial fund is being established in Gregory’s name.
