LOUISA J. “PAT” STEINHARDT
Louisa J. “Pat” Steinhardt, age 85, of Plymouth, Wis., passed away late Thursday evening, Jan. 9, 2014, at Aurora Sheboygan Medical Center where she had been a patient the past four days.
She was born Dec. 1, 1928 in Plymouth, Wis., a daughter of the late Joe and Louise Lusher Ditter. She attended Plymouth area grade schools and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1946.
On Feb. 18, 1947, she married Arthur A. Steinhardt at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. The couple have resided in Plymouth since their marriage. He preceded her in death Dec. 8, 2005.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth, and a member of the Christian Mothers Society in the church.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph Steinhardt of Plymouth and Larry (Wendy) Steinhardt of Plymouth; two daughters, Jeanne (Ed) Severson of Plover, Wis., and Lori (John) Kalk of Sheboygan, Wis.; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law: Helen Ditter of West Allis, Lynn Ditter of Plymouth and Frances Steinhardt of Plymouth; and also survived by other relatives and many friends.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and Roger Ditter.
Cremation has taken place and there will be NO visitation or services.
A memorial fund is being established in Pat’s name.
The Suchon Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Plymouth is fulfilling Pat’s wishes. Disposition of her ashes will be private and there will be a Memorial Mass at a later date.
