The Elkhart Resorters’ other place-winners were Franky Perko who earned fifth at 106, Trent Rebedew, eighth at 120 and Nick Miller who captured sixth at 182. Perko was 3-1 in the tourney, including two pins.

“We improved our team finish over 2013 and we are a much younger team this year,” said Resorter head coach Larry Ward.

“This is a great tournament for us to wrestle in. We get the opportunity to wrestle against some high quality wrestlers in Division 1 and 2. It lets us look at ourselves afterwards and see what we need to work on to get to the level we want to be at.”
