CLC leader rolls past Elkhart Lake

SHEBOYGAN – Sheboygan Lutheran bolted to a 21-8 lead after one quarter and then breezed to a 71-44 win over the Elkhart Lake- Glenbeulah Resorters in boys basketball action here Friday night.

The Crusaders raised their first-place Central Lakeshore Conference record to 8-0 (12-2 overall). Elkhart fell to 2-8 in CLC play (3-10 overall).

Tyler Zastrow led a balanced Crusader attack with 15 points. All 11 Lutheran players were in the scoring column.

Antonio Bett paced the Resorters with 18.

“We just didn’t match their level of intensity and _ _ _ play,” said Resorter head coach Jim Brown.

“They are very good and are very tough at home. However, our guys need to realize they can compete with anyone and fight a bit harder.”
