Flower Market comes to spring musical

Plymouth High School will be offering a Flower Market for the first time at its spring musical, giving families an easy way to congratulate student performers while helping the school’s fine arts program.

The Flower Market will offer a range of options, from single roses and carnations to a variety of bouquets. Families can pre-order flowers at a discount, and a limited supply of flowers will be available for purchase at the performances.

The market will be run by Arbuckle Floral, with half of all profits going to the PHS Fine Arts Music Boosters Club. Students in the PHS floriculture class will help with the market, so there is no labor charge.

Arbuckle Floral is taking pre-orders at discounted prices until Feb. 28; the order form can be found on the district website at www.plymouth.k12.wi.us. Completed forms can be brought with payment to the office of any Plymouth public school.

The spring musical, which will run from March 6 to 9, is “Singin’ in the Rain,” which tells the story of two Hollywood stars at a crossroads in their careers and how sound changed not only their lives but also the whole motion picture industry. Tickets for reserved seats go on sale Feb. 24.
