Kenneth N. Bitter, 64, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center.

Ken was born July 17, 1949, in Sheboygan to the late Delbert and Evergene (Kaufmann) Bitter. He graduated from Howards Grove High School in 1967.

On July 26, 1969, he married the former Susan Glaser at St. John’s United Church of Christ, Schwarzwald.

Ken was employed at Neumann Plumbing and Heating for 42 years before retiring in 2009.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing with friends and family. He also enjoyed traveling and going to the cabin in Florence. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family.

In addition to his wife, Susan, he is survived by one son, Scott (Ann) Bitter and their children, Robyn and Colton; one daughter, Sherri (Scott) Soucheck and their children, Mavryk and Beau; brothers and sisters, Donna (Tim) Wolf, Karen (David) Hinze, Dale (Donna) Bitter and Dan (Connie) Bitter. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, March 14, at Zimmer’s Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center (State 42 and County JJ, Howards Grove) with the Rev. Robert Hamilton and Rev. Du- Wayne Hanke officiating.

Friends may call on Friday, at the funeral home, from 4 p.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
