Two contend for open Area A seat on Plymouth School Board

Two people are vying for a vacant seat on the Plymouth School District Board of Education, while an incumbent is running unopposed for re-election April 1.

• Camisha A. Miller and Jamie Klemme Gambrell are running for the Area A seat (for a resident living in the city limits) formerly held by the late Mark Rhyan.

• Sally Isely is running unopposed for her seat in Area B (for a resident living outside the city).

All voters living in the district can vote for one candidate in each area. City of Plymouth residents vote at City Hall, 128 Smith St. Village of Cascade residents vote at Cascade Village Hall, 301 First St. Residents of other communities vote at their respective town halls. All polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 1.

Terms are for three years. The board is made up of seven members: three who live within the city boundaries, three who live outside the city boundaries and one at-large member who can be from either area.

Below is information supplied by candidates in response to a questionnaire.
