The mighty Mullet



Recent heavy rains and melting snow have local rivers running at high levels. In Plymouth, water levels in the Mullet River are controlled to some degree by the dam that forms the Mill Pond, lessening the danger of flooding in Plymouth’s downtown. Even with temperatures in the past few days cold enough to freeze some water (below), the river keeps flowing.
