Frederick L. “Freddy” Krahn, age 59, of Beechwood, Wis., left this world late Monday evening, April 14, 2014, surrounded by his family at St. Luke Medical Center in Milwaukee where he fought a long courageous battle with cancer and passed away of unknown causes.

He was born Nov. 14, 1954 in Sheboygan, Wis., a son of Doris (Reul) Krahn and the late Adrian Krahn. Freddy graduated from Kewaskum High School in 1972.

On June 8, 1974, he married Nancy Preder in New Holstein, Wis.

He was employed at Gilson Brothers Co. in Plymouth (now known as Toro Co.) for several years and at Sargento Foods in Plymouth for 14 years and since 2006, was currently business partners with Lynn LaFever at Lynn’s Creekside in Batavia.

Freddy enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing, hunting and spending time up North, watching sports, cartoons (especially “Scooby-Doo”), watching his children play sports, cooking, bartending, having coffee and socializing with friends and spending time with his family.

Survivors include three children: Jason Krahn of Plymouth, Holly (Chad) Feucht of Chilton and Brad Krahn (special friend, Amber Messner) of Plymouth; five grandchildren: Hannah, Chad Jr., Jeremy, Jayde and Nicholas; his mother, Dorie Krahn of Beechwood; four brothers: Larry (Nancy) Krahn of Kewaskum, Bobby (Alice) Krahn, Jim Krahn and Scott (Sharon) Krahn, all of Beechwood, and one sister, Tracy (Lonny) Block of Beechwood; and also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one son, Jeremy and his father, Adrian.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, April 21, at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. The Rev. David Schlieter, pastor of New Horizon United Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in the Beechwood Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth from 3 p.m. Monday until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Freddy’s name.
