Greg A. Littlefield, age 43, of Plymouth, Wis., passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 18, 2014.

He was born June 14, 1970 in Plymouth, Wis., a son of Eugene and Georgine (Zimmermann) Littlefield. He was baptized in September 1970 and confirmed on May 18, 1986, at Salem United Church of Christ in Plymouth.

He attended Plymouth Fairview Elementary School and graduated from Plymouth High School on June 7, 1989. Greg was very active and enjoyed many sports: football, basketball, baseball, track and wrestling. He went on to Lakeshore Technical College and worked as a nursing assistant at several nursing homes in the area.

On July 2, 1993, he married Lisa Lindsay.

On May 18, 2011, Greg graduated with honors from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay, Wis., as a certified respiratory therapist. On Feb. 25, 2012, he passed his state board exam and is now a Registered Respiratory Therapist and was employed at Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee, Wis.

He enjoyed woodworking, going to sporting events with family, being outdoors, long walks with his dog, and spending precious time with his children.

Survivors include his three beautiful daughters: Kyanne (19), Jade (16) and Ava (4); parents, Gene and Georgine Littlefield; two brothers, Gary (Sue) Littlefield and Mark Littlefield; four sisters: Diane Mueller, Nancy (Charles) Hellmer, Cheryl Littlefield of Tomahawk and Jane (Vern) Habeck; one aunt, Romelda Wunsch; two uncles, Frank (Eunice) Littlefield and Robert (Audrey) Littlefield; nieces and nephews: Renee and Matthew Pennell, Sean and Cassandra Littlefield and Ryan Mueller; his canine companion, Pearl; and also survived by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rymand and Elise Zimmermann and Earl Sr. and Mildred (Humphrey) Leverenz; aunts and uncles: Loretta (Milton) Gumm, Earl (Adeline) Littlefield, Dick (Jeanice) Littlefield, LaVern (Bea) Barta and Leslie Wunsch; and canine companions, Ranger and Wedgey.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, at Salem United Church of Christ in Plymouth. The Rev. James Hoppert, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery.

Friends may call at the CHURCH on Wednesday from 3 p.m. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Greg’s name.
