Fischer posted a time of 4 minutes, 52.34 seconds in the 1,600 and 2:06.05 in the 800. The Tigers’ other winner was junior Eric Dvorachek in the 3,200 run with a 10:53.00 effort. Dvorachek finished second in the 1,600.

Kiel won the boys title with 174 points, followed by HGHS and Brown Deer with 128 each.

Kiel also won the girls meet with an impressive 197 points to run away from the field. Sheboygan North was second at 112. The Tigers took fourth with 71. Both meets included seven teams.

The Tiger girls were led by sophomore Noelle Eschen who was second in the 100 dash (in 13.72 seconds) and long jump (14- 0), and third in the 200 (28.05). Howards didn’t have any firstplace finishers in the girls meet.

“It was another great meet for us. A lot of people stepped up and really pushed it to the limits,” said Tiger head coach Tyler Biederwolf about the boys and girls teams.

“The wind was tough but the kids did a nice job staying strong and doing it for the team. I am really looking forward to seeing the group peak at the end of the season. Some amazing things could happen.”
