Get rid of your old electronics



The Plymouth School District has collected tons of unwanted electronics for recycling over the years. Another collection will be held June 20 and 21 at the school as part of a community outreach recycling program. The items will be accepted free of charge, as a community service. All personal data is guaranteed to be safely and securely destroyed. Materials will be recycled through Vintage Tech Recyclers Inc., a certified recycler. Items can be brought to the shop doors on the north end of Plymouth High School, 125 Highland Ave., from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, June 20 and from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 21. Electronics that will be accepted are: TVs (CRT and all other); Computer monitors (CRT and all other); CPUs (computer central processing units); Laptops, netbooks, tablets; Printers, scanners, fax machines, photocopiers; Telephones, cell phones, PDAs; VCR/DVD players; Stereo equipment Remote controls; MP3 players/iPods; and Game systems. Also accepted will be the following computer accessories: keyboards and mice, hard drives, speakers, flash drives, modems, back-up power supplies and cables/ cords.
