Todd Ray Hughes was born Dec. 2, 1977, to the loving parents of Dan and Sharon Boortz Hughes and passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014, doing what he loved to do. He was 36 years old.

He attended St. John Lutheran Grade School and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1995. Todd did a fiveyear apprenticeship at KW Electric in Plymouth and received his Apprenticeship in Electronics.

When he was 16 years old, he started racing stock cars at Chilton in the Pro-4 then to the I-MCA Modified and ended up racing with the Blacktop Late Model.

Todd also ran his own charter boat business, the “Incentive,” in Sheboygan for five years.

He was currently employed at Rockline Industries in Sheboygan for the past five and one-half years.

Todd was a member of the Wisconsin State Hog Chapter and put many miles on his Harley over the past 10 years and loved shooting in Three Gun competition.

Survivors include his parents, Dan and Sharon Hughes of Glenbeulah; his loving fiancée, Cherie Hunt of Glenbeulah; one brother, Daniel (Michelle) Hughes of Georgia; four aunts and uncles: Darlene (Frank) Green of New Mexico, Bob (Marie) Hughes of Kiel, Diane (Loren) Nelson of Northfield, Wis., and Ken Hughes of Whitehall, Wis.; and his three crazy pets: two Yorkies and one silver Lab. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Todd was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Zitler and his grandparents, George and Edith Hughes and Lyle and Dorothy Boortz.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, June 27, at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. The Rev. Nathan Meador, pastor at St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth, will officiate. Cremation will follow the services.

Relatives and friends may call at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth from 4 p.m. Friday until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Todd’s name.
