Bank announces scholarship winners

National Exchange Bank & Trust announces the following recipients of its 2014 Howards Grove High School Scholarships. Students were judged on academics along with school and community involvement.

Megan E. Grimmenga

Megan E. Grimmenga is the daughter of Jeffrey and Kathryn Grimmenga of Howards Grove. In the fall, she plans to attend the University of Wisconsin in Madison where she will begin earning credits towards a degree in Biochemistry / Pre-Pharmacy.

While attending Howards Grove High School, Grimmenga was a part of the National Honor Society, the Cross Country Team, Track and Field Team and Forensics Team. She was a Biology Tutor, Concession Stand Volunteer and Team Leader for the Junior Achievement Business Challenge.Grimmenga is also active in her community through her church and 4-H.

Zachary R. Stanczyk

Zachary R. Stanczyk, son of John and Krista Stanczyk of Howards Grove, plans to attend Marian University in Fond du Lac this coming fall. He will be working toward his Nursing Degree.

Stanczyk played tennis during his high school career and was part of the Howards Grove High School Trap Team. He was a member of the National Honor Society and also participated in Pause for a Cause and Give-a-Book, Take-a-Book drive for the Children’s Hospital.

He has also served as umpire for youth baseball and lead instructor for paintball.Stanczyk works at Subway in Howards Grove.
