The magazine was created 27 years ago by Eastern Wisconsin Conference principals who wanted to recognize academic performance. Students at any conference school can submit any form of creative writing to their English Department teachers, who review the work and select pieces worthy of publication.

PHS English teachers Janet DeJean Newton and Lucas Cleary made the selections for Plymouth. The following PHS students had writings accepted for publication: Karly Adamson, Dallys Baizley, Jimmy Balistreri, Natalie Britt, Bre Cain, Maggie Chandler, MaKenna Gilhuber, Madison Goldbeck, Kayla Lentz, Maggie McConnaha, Shannon McKee, Matt Nelson and Mark Novak.

Participating schools are Campbellsport, Kewaskum, Kiel, New Holstein, Plymouth, Sheboygan Falls, Two Rivers and Waupun. Each year, one of the conference schools takes a turn hosting a luncheon honoring the writers.

PHS hosted the luncheon May 13 at the Plymouth Arts Center. Rather than a traditional catered dinner, participants enjoyed Dominos pizzas and Subway subs along with veggie trays and dessert bars prepared by PHS culinary arts students, who also managed the banquet. Two students from each school read one of their selections, and the PHS Jolly Pranksters Comedy Team also provided entertainment.
