Each tutor who attended received a gift bag and participated in 80 raffle drawings. Gifts and prizes were donated by Advanced Eye Care, David E. Andrews Law Office, Bank First National, ChiroHealth Chiropractic, Chuck Van Horn Dodge, Culver’s Restaurant, Dairy Queen, Green Bay Packers, K-W Electric, Kwik Trip, McDonald’s, Marshalls Express, Marshall Sign, Meyer Motors, Milwaukee Admirals, Milwaukee Bucks, Odyssey Fun Center, PJ Campbell’s at the Depot, Subway, Suchon Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Tom and Jerry’s Mini Golf and Walmart

“A thank-you goes out to all our donors as without your generous donations, the PHS math and science teachers could not thank all our tutors enough for their time and effort throughout the year,” said PHS chemistry and physical science teacher Carrie Pieper

Tutors volunteer at the beginning of each semester and are matched to PHS students throughout the year as the need arises. Students being tutored find greater success in their math and science classes and demonstrate an increase in their overall confidence and self-esteem. Volunteer tutors experience firsthand the rewards of helping others while strengthening their leadership skills.
