Homestead hammers Tigers

The loss was only the second of the season for the Tigers who slipped to 11-2. The Highlanders improved to 15-5.

Senior outfielder Bryce Juedes sparked Homestead’s onslaught with a team-high three hits and six RBIs. Chris Mueller also banged out three hits to go with three RBIs.

HGHS was held to only four hits and had no batters with more than one. Jake Fritz and Dakota Rabe had one RBI each.

Tiger pitching issued nine walks and the HGHS defense committed five errors which led to five unearned runs by Homestead.
