GEORGE P. BOHNSACK

George P. Bohnsack, age 75, of Plymouth, Wis., passed away early Saturday morning, July 19, 2014, at Plymouth Care Center where he had been a resident for the past three days.

George was born April 14, 1939 in Plymouth, a son of George H. and Dorothy C. (Plate) Bohnsack. He attended St. John the Baptist Grade School and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1957.

George married Kay Zeinemann on Jan. 14, 1961, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. They resided in Plymouth after their marriage.

His employment included A&P in Plymouth from 1957-68 and Plymouth Utilities from 1968 until his retirement in 2002.

George was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth.

He enjoyed watching Green Bay Packer games and working on the computer.

He is survived by his wife, Kay of Plymouth; two children, Susan M. (Charles K.) Barnett of Northfield, Ill., and Drs. David L. (Mary Ahn) Bohnsack of Carol Stream, Ill.; one grandson, Wyatt Bohnsack of Carol Stream; one brother-in-law, John Hanlon of Tigerton, Wis.; nieces, Barbara Bauschka of Alpharetta, Ga., and Kathleen Blumreich of Menasha, Wis.; nephew, John P. Hanlon of New Holstein, Wis.; goddaughter, Mary Ellen Krueger of Hartland, Wis.; godson, Thomas Sigmond of Chile; and special friends: Robert (Inez) Triebensee of Plymouth, Jerry (Connie) Cook of Sheboygan, Don (Laura) Diver of Plymouth and Marvin (Donna) Cain of Plymouth. George is further survived by other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and one sister, Carolyn Hanlon.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. Father Dan Volkert, pastor of the church, will officiate. Inurnment will be at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Plymouth.

Friends may call at the CHURCH on Tuesday afternoon from 4 p.m. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in George’s name for the American Cancer Society.
