PHS JV baseball team falls shy

The Plymouth Panthers pounded out 14 hits but were outslugged, 11- 9, by visiting Sheboygan Lutheran in junior varsity baseball action July 14.

Tyler Moegenburg sparked the Panthers’ attack with four hits. Cole Henning and Derek Schweiger added two each. Henning scored a teamhigh four runs.

On July 9, PHS lost to West Bend East, 12-7. Henning and Scweiger led the Panthers in hits with two apiece. Henning had a team-high three runs.

In other recent games, PHS fell to New Holstein, 13-4; and to Sheboygan Falls, 13-3. Ethan Keller keyed the Panthers’ offense against New Holstein with three hits, followed by Schweiger’s two. Tyler Luedtke paced PHS in runs versus New Holstein with two.

The Panthers were outhit by Falls, 12-5. Moegenburg had a team-best two hits. Reece Hill led PHS in runs with a pair.
