Toro awards Legacy grants

In celebration of its 100th anniversary, The Toro Company has long been committed to helping customers around the world care for their outdoor environments. At the same time, Toro has built a legacy of giving back to the communities where its employees live and work. As Toro celebrates ‘A Century of Innovation’ and ‘A Legacy of Caring,’ the company is proud to continue its support of communities with the donation of over $700,000 through its Legacy Grant Program.

Supporting both domestic and international locations, the Legacy Grant Program has enabled Toro to continue its strong support of its communities worldwide. The projects chosen to receive funding are helping to enrich outdoor landscapes, to encourage efficient use of water, and to involve children and adults in education programs on managing water resources.

Grants locally were to:

Plymouth Youth Soccer Association - $10,000 (Plymouth Soccer Club / Plymouth Youth Soccer Association Practice Field Park).

Sheboygan County YMCA - $5,000 (Camp Y-Koda Playground).
