Terrance Lee Meins, age 66, of Adell, entered eternal life through the doors of Sharon S. Richardson on Monday, Sept. 1, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born Nov. 24, 1947 in Port Washington, son of the late Norman and Allegra (Mock) Meins.

On Dec. 24, 1967, he married Charlotte Steurwald at Zion Methodist Church in Batavia. The couple lived in Port Washington until moving to the town of Scott.

Terry was a hard worker with a strong work ethic, which allowed him to be successful in the fields of mechanics and farming. He also believed strongly in the family dynamic spending his free time with his wife, children, and grandchildren enjoying the outdoors by camping, hunting, and fishing.

Terry is survived by three daughters, Tammy (Deron) Datzman of Warsaw, Ind., Sherry (Dan) Collicott of Racine and Connie (Ben) Kirchstein of Sheboygan; four grandchildren, Alexis and Justin Collicott,

Faith and Gideon Kirchstein; and siblings, Tim (Mary) Meins and Robin (Ralph) Youmans.

Terry was preceded in death by his loving wife, Charlotte.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, at Grace Bible Church in Adell with Pastor Paul Thyren officiating. Burial will take place Saturday morning, Sept. 6, in Zion United Methodist Cemetery in Batavia.

Friends may call at the church Friday from 5 p.m. until the time of service.

A memorial fund has been established in the name of Terrance L. Meins for the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice and The Vince Lombardi Cancer Center.
