Millers 60th wedding anniversary

Jerome J. and Marlene A. Miller of 314 N. Highland Ave. #220, Plymouth, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Thursday, July 17, 2014, by attending a church service at Community United Church of Christ, Elkhart Lake, followed by a dinner at their granddaughter’s home in Sheboygan Falls.

They were married July 17, 1954, at Elkhart Lake.

Marlene A. Mueller was born Oct. 3, 1935, the daughter of Calvin and Anna Mueller, Elkhart Lake. She was employed by Old Wisconsin Sausage Co., Sheboygan. She enjoys spending time with her family, taking side trips, and wintering in Florida for four-five months.

He was born Dec. 14, 1932, the son of Oscar and Mildred Miller. He was employed by Old Wisconsin Sausage Co., Plymouth Housing, and Colonial Columns Housing. He is a member of Masonic Lodge #167, Plymouth, and has officiated sports for 61 years. He loves to play cards!

The couple attend Community UCC, Elkhart Lake.

He is affiliated with all appendant bodies of Masonic Lodge.

The family includes three children: Karen (Jim) Kasten, Sheboygan; Kevin (Sandra) Miller, Cedarburg and Kelly (Roger) Mehre, Greenbush; seven grandchildren: Heather (Mike) Meinolf, Winston-Salem, N.C.; Jason (Sami) Kasten, Sheboygan; Melissa (Scott) Maurer, Sheboygan Falls; Calvin J. Miller, Cedarburg; Jared Mehre and Jenna Mehre, both of Madison, and Jessica Mehre, Greenbush; and four great-grandchildren: Emalee Meinolf and Terrick Meinolf, both of Winston-Salem; Kaitlyn Maurer of Sheboygan Falls and Rhys Kasten of Sheboygan.

The couple have wintered in Bradenton, Fla., for 10 years.
