PHS racked up 346 points in the 12-team meet. West Bend West, which defeated the Panthers in a triangular meet Sept. 11, earned the title with 412½.

The Panthers were led by their 200-yard freestyle relay which took first in 1 minute, 47.21 seconds. The foursome included senior Maddie Strutz, juniors Nichole Bartzen and Anna Theisen, and freshman Katy Coley.

Strutz had a fine meet as she placed second in the 50 and 100 freestyle races with times of 26.36 seconds and 57.64, respectively.

“It was our depth that helped us place second. We didn’t have many career- or season-bests but picked up the middle-of-thepack event points,” said Panther head coach Mike Slagle.

“Most of our finishes were between fourth and 12th.

“We are pretty torn down and tired – continuing to have two-aday practices four days a week. The ladies are working hard and keeping a good positive outlook,” noted Slagle.

Savannah Arneson led PHS in the 11-dive event with a 10th-place finish and a score of 310.05 points.

Lauren Boos, a sophomore at Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, is a member of the Kiel/EL-G co-op team. Her best individual finish in the meet was fifth in the 50 freestyle with a time of 27.06.

Kiel/EL-G finished ninth with 110 and ½ points. Kohler/ Sheboygan Lutheran/Sheboygan Falls took seventh with 151.
