Make-a-scarecrow fundraiser set

Seranya Studios Art Boutique will be hosting a family scarecrow building event to benefit the Plymouth Gift of Life, Inc.

The event will be held, rain or shine, Saturday, Oct. 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Seranya, 307 E. Mill St.

Many Downtown Plymouth Association businesses are teaming with Seranya to sponsor scarecrows on a first-come basis. The completed, sponsored scarecrows will be proudly displayed outside each sponsoring business. Additional scarecrows can be made for a $5 donation.

Bring your family and build one or more life-sized scarecrows. All materials will be provided to make your creation, but you are welcome to bring any hats, gloves, shoes, or other decorations or accessories you would like to add to bring your creation to life.

Team up with your Downtown Plymouth Association businesses to bring life to a scarecrow and make someone’s life a lot better through supporting the local charity - Plymouth Gift of Life.
