Tigers’ Dvorachek wins Kewaskum Invite title

KEWASKUM – Senior Eric Dvorachek of Howards Grove won the boys race at Thursday’s Kewaskum Cross Country Invitational.

Dvorachek ran a career-best time of 17 minutes, 9 seconds on the 3.1-mile course. He edged runner up Trevor Wenzel of Valders by only one second.

Valders won the boys meet with an outstanding 15 points. The HGHS Tigers and Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah Resorters had incomplete squads. Caterson Schamberger paced EL-G with a 16th-place finish.

HGHS placed second in the girls meet with 34 points, with Valders taking first at 29. Sopho- more Ashley Reinemann led HGHS with a second-place finish in 21:35.

Adrianna Lubner of Washington County Home School was the girls champion in 20:09.

The Resorters placed fourth in the girls meet with 102 points. Jessica Mehre earned eighth to lead the Resorters.
