ESTHER ANN VERBECK

Esther Ann Verbeck, age 86, formerly of Redfield, SD, passed away early Tuesday evening Oct. 7, 2014 at Anita’s Gardens in Plymouth where she had been a resident for the past 5 years

She was born on November 25th, 1927 in Spink County, South Dakota a daughter of thelate Frank and Helen Jungwirth Pfeifer.

Esther attended Hand County Grade School in Miller, South Dakota and attended High School in Redfield, South Dakota.

On November 1, 1946, Esther married Lawrence Verbeck in Redfield, SD.

The couple resided in Redfield until they moved to Wisconsin in 1960.

She worked for the West Bend Company for many years.

Her husband preceded her in death on March 11, 1994.

Survivors include three daughters: Martha (Ken) Nett of Belgium, Patricia (Ken) Schoening of Plymouth and Kathleen (Bob) Lehman of Adell; one son-in-law: Dan Klotz of Random Lake; 9 grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren and eight brothers and sisters: Rosie Hanson of Redfield, SD, Joe Pfeifer of Orient, SD, Dorothy Downing of Redfield, SD, Ed (Shirley) Pfeifer of Miller, SD, Mary Ann (Roger) Bent of Faulkton, SD, Bobbi Rosemore of Miller, SD, Kenny (Sandy) Pfeifer of Nebraska and Lucille (Les) Staufer of Watertown, SD.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter: Mary Klotz; grandson: Bryce Klotz; great grandson: Dakota Harder; one brother: Vince Pfeifer; one sister: Pearl Gerlack; four brothers-in-law: Bill Eschenbaum, Lloyd Hanson , Vince Rosemore and Fritz Downig.

Memorial Services will take place on Monday (Oct. 13th) at 5:00 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be in the St. Rose Cemetery in Fredonia, WI.

Friends may call at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth on Monday (Oct. 13th) from 3:00 P.M. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in her name.
